I have been crucified with Christ. See notes on Ro 6:2–6 . When a person trusts in Christ for salvation, he spiritually participates with the Lord in His crucifixion and His victory over sin and death. no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. The believer’s old self is dead ( see note on Eph 4:22 ), having been crucified with Christ ( Ro 6:3 , 5 ). The believer’s new self has the privilege of the indwelling Christ empowering him and living through him ( see notes on Ro 8:9 , 10 ). gave Himself up for me. The manifestation of Christ’s love for the believer through His sacrificial death on the cross ( Jn 10:17 , 18 ; Ro 5:6–8 ; Eph 5:25–30 ).

Paul was writing to the Roman church, to let them clearly understand, that this hope extended to not just the Jewish people, but to all of mankind. God’s plan for salvation, always was to include all of mankind. In 15-9-12, Paul quotes from the Law, the Prophets, and Psalms, to make his case.

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Lord, may our hearts humbly bow before you, in persistent prayer. May we be alert, to the needs of others, so we might lift them up. Reveal yourself to us, through answered prayer, even though it may not be, what we wanted the outcome to be. May we always remember, that you care about us and love hearing our petitions.

Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving;

Are you looking for REST?  You will not find it, in the tireless effort of trying to fulfill the law.  Only through the endless love and grace of God, through Jesus, will you find it.  Jesus said, “come to me, all of you who weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest”.

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.

Is this not a beautiful picture, of what the church is supposed to be?  Yesterday I said, Love covers a multitude of sins.  Let us show Grace, as Grace has been fully given to us.  May our hearts be forever changed by Jesus.

Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.

Faith, Hope, Love…….but the greatest of these is Love.

The verse below, has great depth and meaning, but this blog (for now), is not for a deep, in depth study.  Just know, Love covers a multitude of sins.  Thank you Jesus, for showing us what perfect Love is.
For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, ” you shall love your neighbor as yourself .”
