Judgement was coming to the people, if they didn’t change their ways. Self-righteous doesn’t work. A changed heart, brings forth what is necessary. The fruit in the picture, is what flows from it. It is God, who must change the heart.
If you are a Blessed recipient, how about an Amen!
How blessed are those who observe His testimonies, Who seek Him with all their heart.

God does not need perfect people, to do his bidding. He needs people to answer the call, when he asks. Don’t try and be perfect, before you serve God. He already sent Jesus to to remedy your imperfection. God uses imperfect people, to accomplish his plan, to those that put their trust and faith in him. Will it be you, today?

Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

We seemed to have lost this, in the church. You don’t necessarily need to publicly, go on social media and tell the world, but you need close friends that you can trust and will hold you accountable. I’m not saying that social media is not a powerful tool to share, but you may want to have your closest friends, walk with you through it first. It takes a lot of courage, to bare your soul, to the whole world. Especially for those who don’t understand, but……How healing to those whose lives are forever changed, by your courageous obedience, to this verse, who may be also struggling with he same issue. Also, this verse is talking to believers in the church, and not to those who have never given their lives to Christ.
Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.

Gut check: Let’s take some time and think about any false God’s we may have in our own lives, besides the Lord of the heavens and Earth. Love God, and walk in his ways and find life, both present and eternal . The alternative, comes in the next couple of verses. Reject God, and his ways and you will find death, both in this present life and for all of eternity. Something to consider wisely.
