Father, sometimes we forget how precious, our time is, here on this earth. Help us Lord, to prioritize what is important, that we might spend our days, doing doing what is important to you. May our hearts desire be to hear, “Well done, thy good and Faithful Servant“
Our words are important, but so too, are our actions, that go along with our words. Lord, may the words of our mouth, and the meditation of ours hearts be acceptable to you, today and everyday. Help us Father, to be the examples you want us to be.
Lord, may we be a willing servant, to go where you send us today. May your word go forth, through these weak vessels, that you may use, to give you Glory. Amen
Christian Leadership, is a heart of service to others.,in humility, with love.
The whole idea of public servant in this country, I believe was an attempt to honor this great statement. Satan, I believe, has misguided our leaders in this country, by them believing the lie, that they need to be served. How do we change this in the US? One heart, one soul, one mind at a time , by the hearts being transformed, by the Gospel and the power of the Holy Spirit working through our humble service, one day at a time.
Dr. COWAN, was only a man, but his life reflected God’s heart, in his life. He changed my life, forever, by his life and example. For that, I will ever be grateful. HE served the Lord.
Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve.
Colossians 3:23-24 NASB
I want you to stop and think about this, with me for a minute. Jesus’s way, is not the world’s way. We are called to Love our enemies, not destroy and overcome, like the worldly view. We overcome with Love and Compassion, just as Jesus did. Think about an enemy, or someone you are at war (there is strife of some sort) with right now. Show compassion and love to them, but don’t do it to get something. Do it because that is how Jesus did it. The rest is not up to us. God Bless you today.
Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
LUKE 6:36 NASB
Lord, may our hearts humbly bow before you, in persistent prayer. May we be alert, to the needs of others, so we might lift them up. Reveal yourself to us, through answered prayer, even though it may not be, what we wanted the outcome to be. May we always remember, that you care about us and love hearing our petitions.
Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving;
COLOSSIANS 4:2 NASB
Oh, how we need to be reminded, that serving is a blessing, to those we serve. Know this. Even when it doesn’t seem like a blessing, to the ones we serve, know that we will be blessed, for modeling Jesus. God Bless you today.
If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.
John 13:14 NASB
May you all have a blessed and fruitful 2019, in the name of our Lord and Savior! May you find victory in whatever this world brings you way.
What a great reminder to know, that unless the Lord is in our plans, it is a fruitless endeavor. May his Holy Spirit guide us, as we seek to to serve and honor him.
The of man plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.
Proverbs 16:9 NASB
