transformed. The Gr. word, from which the Eng. word “metamorphosis” comes, connotes a change in outward appearance. Matthew uses the same word to describe the Transfiguration (Mt 17:2). Just as Christ briefly and in a limited way displayed outwardly His inner, divine nature and glory at the Transfiguration, Christians should outwardly manifest their inner, redeemed natures, not once, however, but daily (cf. 2Co 3:18; Eph 5:18). renewing of your mind. That kind of transformation can occur only as the Holy Spirit changes our thinking through consistent study and meditation of Scripture (Ps 119:11; cf. Col 1:28; 3:10, 16; Php 4:8). The renewed mind is one saturated with and controlled by the Word of God

Judgement was coming to the people, if they didn’t change their ways. Self-righteous doesn’t work. A changed heart, brings forth what is necessary. The fruit in the picture, is what flows from it. It is God, who must change the heart.

Let us all Remember, that this life, and our Faith, is not a game. We cant just dress up our lives to look good, but really not have pure motives. God sees everything, and knows our hearts. Not that we won’t make mistakes, but that we do walk in faith. It is Jesus who makes us right before a Holy God, and the Holy Spirit, who strengthens us to persevere, and be faithful. One day we will be made perfect, but until then, may we be filled with the spirit, humbled by the gift of salvation, through Faith, and walk with confidence that God loves us. May we show that same love to others today and every day.

Every man’s way is right in his own eyes, But the Lord weighs the hearts.

We Are Not Ashamed………. For I am not a ashamed of the gospel , for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. May the grant us all strength, to stand firm in our faith, through his Holy Spirit. Thank you, Jesus.

For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, ” but the righteous man shall live by faith .”

Our bodies, given as a living sacrifice. In verse 2, it says, that we might be transformed. Just as Christ poured out his life for us, we are to give up our lives to him. It is a process, but the word transformed is from the word, metamorphosis. Think of the caterpillar transformed into the beautiful butterfly. Only God can do this in our lives, through the power of the Holy Spirit. Some believers process is faster or slower than others, but in the end, we will be transformed. Thank you, Jesus.

Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.
