Warning: This was a warning of Judgement to those who did not seek the Lord. The nation had fallen into pagan worship and idolatry. It had lead, them into many forms of unrighteousness, and God was saying to brace yourselves! Does any of this sound familiar? Let us confess our sins and turn from them. Let us pray for our nation, who has gone astray. Let us be a light in a dark place and be used by God, as a lighthouse, to save those who will listen and receive God’s truth!

No matter what our circumstances, we are commanded to tell others, about our great God. He should be feared, by those who worship other God’s. Gut check: Let’s take some time and think about any false God’s we may have in our own lives, besides the Lord of the heavens and Earth. Love God, and walk in his ways and find life, both present and eternal . The alternative, comes in the next couple of verses. Reject God, and his ways and you will find death, both in this present life and for all of eternity. Something to consider wisely.
