But the things which God announced beforehand by the mouth of all the prophets, that His Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled.

Father, may we all, who profess your name, be telling a lost world, the Good News, that our souls were bought with a price, that we can never repay, by Jesus perfect life, his giving of himself for us, out of perfect love, that we might be rescued from ourselves, to a new life in him. Your word never returns empty, and YOUR LOVE NEVER FAILS.

How great, the fathers love for us, that he would truly, give the gift, that keeps on giving. We can’t earn it, we don’t deserve it, but can accept it, and treasure it in our hearts, and tell all of how it has changed us. transformed. The Gr. word, from which the Eng. word “metamorphosis” comes, connotes a change in outward appearance. Matthew uses the same word to describe the Transfiguration (Mt 17:2). Just as Christ briefly and in a limited way displayed outwardly His inner, divine nature and glory at the Transfiguration, Christians should outwardly manifest their inner, redeemed natures, not once, however, but daily (cf. 2Co 3:18; Eph 5:18). renewing of your mind. That kind of transformation can occur only as the Holy Spirit changes our thinking through consistent study and meditation of Scripture (Ps 119:11; cf. Col 1:28; 3:10, 16; Php 4:8). The renewed mind is one saturated with and controlled by the Word of God

He Restores my Soul. Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

In my own strength, I would not have the capacity to love, but Paul says, in Philippians, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. –Lord, through your strength, help me to love others who are unlovable, just as I was to you.–

God wants you to speak to him, with a heart that seeks him, and wants to know him more. He does not want some ritualist repitition. He also wants you to know him. The Bible tells us all that we need to know about him. Meditate on his word and tell him what’s on your heart and the Holy Spirit will guide and teach you.

The fear if the Lord, is the beginning of Wisdom. That initial fear of what we deserve, turns into devotion for what we didn’t get. Our God is truly an awesome God.

Surrendering you bodies to God, is a beautiful thing. The picture is like that of the catapillar, turning into a beautiful butterfly. What a beautiful transformation.

Great and mighty, are your works Oh Lord. It is you who hold all things together. It is you who created the foundations of the earth. It is you who hold the stars in place and keep the oceans from covering the whole earth. Most wonderful, is that you love us, in spite of our imperfect ways, yet Jesus made us whole. You call us adopted sons and daughters. In all these troubled times, we are truly blessed.
