So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. We are not merely to hear Gods word, but to actively pursue doing it. We’ve missed the point, if we quietly absorb his words, and not put them in action. Is there anything today, that you need to take action on what God is telling you?
The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart. Luke 6:45
Change my heart Oh Lord, that what comes out of my mouth, reflects a true transformation taking place for good, in this sinful natured body. May your Holy Spirit, transform this humble servant, for good, and not evil.
The fear if the Lord, is the beginning of Wisdom. That initial fear of what we deserve, turns into devotion for what we didn’t get. Our God is truly an awesome God.
Great and mighty, are your works Oh Lord. It is you who hold all things together. It is you who created the foundations of the earth. It is you who hold the stars in place and keep the oceans from covering the whole earth. Most wonderful, is that you love us, in spite of our imperfect ways, yet Jesus made us whole. You call us adopted sons and daughters. In all these troubled times, we are truly blessed.
Our slate is wiped clean, there is no memories of wrongs committed, we are free from the bondage of sin, our canvas is empty to start new! Jesus has taken the judgement off our backs for the wrongs done. Do we Believe this? Then let’s start this year with hope, for a new tomorrow, both now, and for all eternity. God is still on the Throne.

Moisture from heaven invariably accomplishes its intended purpose in helping meet human physical needs. The Word of God will likewise produce its intended results in fulfilling God’s spiritual purposes, especially the establishment of the Davidic kingdom on earth (vv. 1– 5 ).
